Every removal starts with a look at the tree itself — its health, lean, size, and how close it stands to your house, fence, or power lines. That inspection tells us the safest way to bring it down: felling it in one piece where there’s open room, or dismantling it in sections when space is tight.

We take the limbs first, then the larger wood, then the trunk, using ropes and rigging to control every piece on the way down. Once it’s on the ground we cut everything into manageable sections, haul it away, and leave the site clean.

Grinding is where we do our most detailed work. A commercial-grade grinder spins a high-speed disc of carbide teeth that chips the stump down to 6–8 inches below ground level. Most residential stumps take anywhere from fifteen minutes to about an hour, with no giant hole to fill and very little disruption to the rest of your yard.

We rake the leftover wood shavings back over the spot to fill it in and double as natural mulch, or haul them off for a small extra charge. When you want the stump gone for good — roots and all — a mini excavator pulls the entire stump and root ball, clearing 12 to 25 inches below grade so it can’t grow back.

It’s worth grinding out: a leftover stump is a tripping hazard and a lawn-mower obstacle, and it invites pests and fungi that can spread to the healthy trees nearby.

Shrub removal is the same idea as stump grinding — clear the space and start fresh. We pull out overgrown, dead, or unwanted shrubs along with their root systems, reclaiming the yard so you can put in new landscaping or move straight into a full renovation.
